Corentaso: 42nd Buklod Atensita National Leaders Summit (Additional Budget Request)

The Buklod Atenista National Leaders Summit (BANLS) is the biennial gathering of the Member Student Governments (MSGs) and Council of Organizations from the five Jesuit Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines that constitute Buklod Atenista (Alliance). The gathering serves as a platform for Ateneo student leaders to deliberate on pressing issues with the principal objective of fostering leadership development through the drafting of resolutions and acquiring insights into emerging national concerns. The 42nd BANLS with a theme Corentaso will be hosted by Ateneo de Zamboanga University — El Consejo Atenista. This year’s summit will prioritize five key issues which are (1) Education Policies and Student Rights and Welfare (STRAW), (2) Peace and Justice, (3) Environment and Disaster Preparedness, (4) Inclusion and Cultural Affairs, and (5) Governance. Corentaso symbolizes the dynamic and continuous waves that shape collective leadership amid the evolving realities of our time. The summit will feature key discussions, including corruption, the Philippine Midterm Elections with the COA, the third reading of resolutions, and the planning of the 42nd Buklod Atenista Mid-Year Conference.
